Market Fresh Guelph is proud to offer Friendlier containers at our Gourmet To Go counter. 

Friendlier containers are reusable containers that are convenient and friendlier to the environment. Friendlier was founded locally with the vision of eliminating single-use plastic and aiding in the switch to reusable packaging. Friendlier strives to make sustainability affordable, convenient, and super easy!

Their reusable food containers and centralized reuse system keeps resources in circulation longer, reducing waste in landfills. 

Simply ask for your food to be packaged in a blue friendlier container for a deposit fee. Download the Friendlier mobile app and after finishing your meal, scan and return your container to the blue bin located at the exit doors to receive your deposit back. Friendlier will then wash the containers to be reused up to 200 more times!
