Accessible Formats and Communication Supports

Upon request, Market Fresh will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication supports for persons with disabilities in a timely manner and at no additional cost.

We will consult with the individual making the request to determine the suitability of an accessible format or communication support.

Service Animals and Support Persons

Persons with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal or support person are welcome at Market Fresh in areas open to the public.

Service animals must be clearly identifiable as such (for example, through a vest or harness), or the individual may be asked to provide documentation from a regulated health professional confirming that the animal is required for reasons related to a disability.

Service animals may be restricted from certain food preparation areas where prohibited by food safety legislation. Where this occurs, Market Fresh will work with the individual to identify alternative means of providing service.

Temporary Disruptions

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to accessibility features or services, Market Fresh will notify customers as soon as reasonably possible. Notices will include information regarding the reason for the disruption, the anticipated duration, and any alternative facilities or services that may be available.
