Our Local Hero, Northwood Maple Farms in located in Elmira, Ontario where 3 generations of the Martin family has been making delicious Canadian Maple Syrup.
Paul Martin started collecting sap on the banks of the Grand and Canagagigur Rivers and boiled sap in an open flat pan with his dad over 55 years ago. It was there that Paul developed the love for producing maple syrup for all to enjoy and he’s been passionate about it ever since!
Paul and his family continue to make a delicious variety of maple syrups, butters, and treats in Elmira, Ontario. All of these local maple products can be found in store at Market Fresh Guelph.
We love supporting local and believe that local simply tastes better. That’s why we are proud to exclusively use Northwood Maple Syrup in all MF’s Housemade maple products.
